Special Education Programs
In New York City, students with disabilities who require special education services have Individualized Education Programs (IEP). The IEP, which is created by a team of educators and the parent(s), contains information about a student’s strengths, needs, and educational program.
Students with disabilities are able to have the requirements of their IEP met onsite via diploma bound and non-diploma bound programs. We have services for speech, language, counseling, OT, resource room, SETTS, transition, collaborative team teaching and ACES programs.
